Las nominaciones para la 90 edición de los premios anuales Oscar se anunciaron esta mañana en el Teatro Samuel Goldwyn en Beverly Hills, California. El presidente de la Academia John Bailey se unió a Tiffany Haddish y Andy Serkis para revelar los nominados de las 24 categorías.

“The Shape Of Water” de Guillermo del Toro continuó su racha de premios, liderando el grupo con 13 nominaciones. “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri” de Martin McDonagh le siguió con nueve nominaciones y “Dunkerque” con siete. Las tres películas obtuvieron  a mejor película. El resto de la categoría se completó con “Call Me By Your Name”, “Darkest Hour”, “Get Out”, “Phantom Thread”, “Lady Bird” y “The Post”“Coco” la película con temática del Día de los Muertos que arrasó en las taquillas de México obtuvo una nominación a Mejor Película Animada y la historia original de Edgar Wright de una forma sorprendente obtuvo dos nominaciones en el área de sonido. Los Premios de la Academia serán presentados por Jimmy Kimmel por segunda vez  y se transmitirán en vivo por ABC el 4 de marzo.
