El Madison Square Garde en Nueva York se llenó con los artistas más aclamados, Bruno Mars arrasó ganando las 3 categorías más importantes Album Of The Year, Record Of The Year y Song Of The Year, Alesia Cara se llevó el premio a Best New Artist arrebatándoselo a la favorita SZA. El premio a Best Comedy Album se lo llevó Dave Chapelle y es la primera vez que estuvo incluido en la transmisión televisiva.
